Meeting my future self in a dream when I was 21 has led me on an unexpected journey. A journey that is remarkable to me. It has transformed all I do as a storyteller.. It has taken me many decades to finally enjoy the ride.
A time traveled through a dark passage of sickness and reconnecting with a part of myself from the future has given me a richer perspective .
She is the inspiration for wanting to sing to whales and dolphins. Mik’s music activated her spirit inside of me.

When I was 21 I had a dream. It was either the morning I turned 21 or the morning after I turned 21. I can never remember, so I always have to start the story this way.
In the dream, I’m standing in front of a stone balustrade at a French chateau in the Hollywood hills. In front of me, is the San Fernando Valley. The sun had set and I was watching as the city lights as they came on across the valley. I had never seen that before.
